Each Christmas, the squares and streets around the Aachen Town Hall are transformed into a fabulous Christmas City that entices the young and old alike. With so many stalls, there is vast choice to suit all budgets; from original and traditional gifts to stylish and luxury goods. Famous for Printenmann (gingerbread), the market stands out for its atmosphere, choice of produce and location. Adults can warm up with mulled wine, whilst children revel on the carousel. Since its beginnings in the 1970s, visitor and exhibitor numbers have rocketed, making this vibrant market well-worth a visit.
